Rebuild Sri Lanka: GHR’s Support at Gangaramaya Temple

On December 09, 2025, a pirith chanting ceremony was held at Gangaramaya Temple to bless those affected by Cyclone Ditwah and to transfer merit to those who lost their lives. The Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, attended alongside religious leaders, community representatives, and members of the public.

During the proceedings, Chairman Mr. Dasun Wickramarathna presented a contribution of LKR 2.5 million to the Rebuild Sri Lanka foundation through its Vice President, supporting immediate relief and the careful rebuilding of homes, livelihoods, and daily routines.

GHR extends heartfelt appreciation to the monks and administrators of Gangaramaya, the event organisers, public officials, and volunteers whose coordination ensures assistance reaches families with dignity and care.
