GHR Global Hosts Spiritual Ceremony for COVID-19 Mourners

To bring solace to those mourning loved ones lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, GHR Global organized a Pirith chanting ceremony and almsgiving at Gangarama Maha Viharaya in Colombo on 12th October 2021.

The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero, along with 50 venerable members of the Maha Sangha, and aimed to offer blessings and comfort to grieving families.

In these difficult times, when many families were unable to hold traditional funeral rites, this religious ceremony provided much-needed spiritual support. Broadcast live by Haritha TV, the event reached a wider audience, allowing more people to participate in the blessings from their homes.
