Mr. M. D. D. P Wickramarathna
8th March 2003 was the most memorable day of my life. It was a new era in the property development sector in Sri Lanka. Since our beginnings, as a small real estate development company with just five members of staff, within the past 18 years, we have made our promise of a new era to the property development sector in Sri Lanka in most a tangible reality and continues development in all the aspects.
During this period I experienced and encountered many challenges that have come across my way to stop my growth .but those challenges and failures were the pillars of the success of the Global Group of companies. Today, it gives me great pride to state that we have grown to become the largest hotel residency developer in Sri Lanka and the second largest condominium developer in Sri Lanka.

A member of the Australian Institute of Business management MBA (Aus ) and member of the Association of Business Executives UK, MABE(UK) .further Mr. Wickramarathna is a fully qualified chartered marketer by profession; Mr. Wickramarathna holds a post-graduate diploma in marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, MCIM(UK). Mr. Wickramarathna has more than 20 years of experience in the field of finance and property development sector in Sri Lanka.

He is a senior Bank Manager and counts over 25 years’ experience in the banking sector. He has specialized in Credit, Trade, Retail Banking and building strong customer relationship, targeting on business growth by enhancing revenue, managing budget and allocating funds, meeting goals and metrics and last but not the least developing financial plans.
He holds MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, UK and member of Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. He has successfully completed Credit Competency programs conducted by the Institute with a Merit pass and has completed examinations conducted by Australian Computer Society.
